Reflection on Abdulla's presentation

Topic: bullying in schools

Abdulla started his presentation with a question about the meaning of bullying. Then he talked about the types, causes, consequences and solutions of bullying.
Abdulla discussed how parent’s aggression may affect in bullying and also he discussed media as a cause of bullying. In addition, he mentioned the negative consequences of bullying and gave two examples, .loujain Hussain from UAE and Pheoble from US. Finally he suggested some solutions for the problem.

The body language was very good. He showed that he understood the topic and he answered the questions that the students asked. Abdulla succeeded in attracting the audience attention. The power point was good organized with titles and expressive pictures.

As a parent, from this presentation I learned that I have to control my anger and not to be aggressive with my children. Also I have to tell my children about bullies and be close to them listening to their problems to prevent my children from facing this problem.

REFLECTION FROM MOHAMMED ISMAIL( P)


Mohammed Ismail spoke about the Maldives. The explanation was simple and concise and quite comprehensive, but he didn't talk about Vava island and I visited this island before and it had excellent and overlooked three islands and the island  has several large hotels.
Mohammed Ismail explained that Male is the capital and is very close to the airport and the sea. The main attractions for tourists are the beaches and the. The Maldives are suitable for modern marriage but Mohammed is not  married.

Reflection on meeting

Venue: reduce traffic accidents

Mohammed opened the meeting in an appropriate manner and displayed.the items to the agenda of the management clearly we moved from one to another until the last point. The reason is in the discussion on how to reduce traffic accidents

The first item for discussion was about seat belts, why they are  important and what is the solution to make all people linked to a seat belt every time. This is the longest part that we talked about.

The second topic was about the mobile phone. Each one gives his opponent on this issue include Hedley with his opinion . We said this  problem is especially here in the United Arab Emirates, and we found many kinds of solution to reduce this problem.

 

Recommendations:


1-Fasten the seat belt is saving our life and its important for our life, we ​​should raise awareness for the people who didn't fasten the belt.


 2-Talking on mobile phones while driving is the most dangerous thing; we should advise the drivers to use a headphone or speaker system.

3-Speed ​​limit in the city should be different than the highway and we should put limit sign boards everywhere in the street.


4-The car maintenance is most important to prevent the accidents.

M K : started the interdiction then asked Mansoor,do you think the seat belt can reduce the injury of the car accident? Mansoor: yes I think the seat belt is important in our life and can help as from serious injury. MK asked Fahad the same question . Fahad : yes its important and we can do awareness for the people by announcements Hedley mentioned some examples about the seat belt cases in the UAE and compared it with the UK.

MK : mobile phones are one of the biggest problems that can happen when you drive the car ; is that right Mansoor ? Mansoor : yes because some people use while the a drive the car and this is happening here in the UAE . Mohd Ismail :we should make the people use hand free speakers for the phones to reduce the accidents .

MK : what do you guys think about the speed limit ? Mansoor :yes of course the speed limit is the main problem for most of the car accidents and we should create many ideas to reduce the car accidents . Fahad: make some advertisements about the speed limit problem and the benefits they will acquire by avoiding speeding

MK : some accidents happen from the careless maintenance .Mohd Ismail: yes some people check up the car for the main things like tires and lights which cause accidents. Fahad : don’t drive in the bad weathere.g. foggy weather. Mohd : if there are any accidents we should open the emergency light.



In conclusion we thought that:

Position: Refinery

Hedley welcomed Mohammed. Mohammmed started by introducing himself. He is 31 years old. He is married with 2 wives and he was a handball player in Al Jazira since 2001.

Hazza asked: why should I hire you? Mohammed said that he has a bachelor's degree in chemistry and he is studying chemical engineering and this is the position that you need. Moreover, he said he has 5 years experience in the refinery. Hazza asked him about working at nights and weekends. He answered that he can’t give 100% attention the job at night. Then Hazza asked about negatives of the refinery. He said lack of bonus.

Then Abdulla asked him about his weaknesses. He said night work and he is not good at math and calculations. Abdulla asked Mohammmed about creativity. He said that he devised new calcium experiments last year.

Mohammed had no questions.

Interviewers: Hedley, Abdulla Abdo. Ahmed Hassan.

Position: Pilot.

Heddly welcomed Mohammed then he asked him to talk about himself. He said I’m 35 years old and I’m single. Then , Abdulla asked why should the company hire him. He answered “ I want to be apilot and I like dangerous things”. Abdulla asked him about his outside interests. Mohammed likes horse riding. Abdulla added one more question about working under pressure. He said he can’t.

Then Ahmed asked Mohammed about his goals. Mohammed said that he wanted to be
 abusinessman and has have his own plane. Ahmed asked if the company can contact his previous  company? Mohammed said yes. Ahmed asked him about salary/. He said, that he hoped the salary would reach 120,000 per month.

Interviewee: Fahad Abdulrahman.

Interviewers: Hedley, Mohammed  Esmail/ Mohammed Khamis.

Heddly welcomed Fahad. Fahad started by  introducing himself. He is 30 years old, married and he is working  as assistant supervisor with ADCO.

Mohd Esmail asked if Fahad can work under pressure. He answered; he had experience with night shifts and overtime. Mohd Esmail asked him about his goal. He said looking for a better position as manager. Mohd Esail also asked about Fahad’s expectation of salary. He answered, looking for a best offer, over 50,000.

Mohd Khamis asked 2 more questions. The first, where did Fahad see himself in 6 years. He said in an important position. The other question was about his strengths. The answer was he is a sociable person and can enforce discipline if needed.

The meeting ended at 11:00.
